Dear Visitors to Black Horse Garage,

On behalf of the entire Black Horse Garage team, I sincerely look forward to having you visit our full-service collector car restoration and repair facility!

Because we are located in a heavy industrial, low-income section of Bridgeport, Connecticut, some have expressed concern about traveling to our shop, however it's important to know Black Horse Garage is conveniently located less that one mile from Interstate 95 and the Stratford town line. Although I must agree that we are not located in an upscale neighborhood, we have never had a crime-related problem and have always found the people living and working around us to be very friendly and peaceful. We also have a great relationship with the Bridgeport Police Department who patrol our area very frequently and often stop in to see the more than 90 collector cars housed in our 40,000 square foot building.

I'd also like to mention that our property is completely fenced, we do not leave client's cars outside overnight and our building and its contents are protected by a very sophisticated ADT alarm/fire detection system and a sprinkler system.

With regard to driving directions, the easiest way to get to our building from I-95 is as follows,

From I-95 South (traveling toward NYC)

Take exit 30 SURF AVENUE. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left and proceed to the traffic light at the intersection of Lordship Boulevard. Turn right onto Lordship Boulevard (which is a 4 lane road) and stay straight until you pass under the I-95 overpass. Immediately after going under I-95 you will pass the entrance ramp for I-95 south and then turn left onto ORANGE STREET (across from Massey Fuel). Stay straight to the first stop sign then turn right onto UNION AVENUE. Follow UNION AVENUE through two traffic lights and Black Horse Garage will come up on your right at 726 Union Ave.

From I-95 North (traveling toward New Haven)

Take exit 30 LORDSHIP BOULEVARD. Stay to the left side of the exit ramp and proceed to the stop sign. Turn left onto Lordship Boulevard and go under the I-95 overpass. Immediately after going under I-95 you will pass the entrance ramp for I-95 south and then turn left onto ORANGE STREET (across from Massey Fuel). Stay straight to the first stop sign then turn right onto UNION AVENUE. Follow UNION AVENUE through two traffic lights and Black Horse Garage will come up on your right at 726 Union Ave.

In the event anyone gets lost on the way to Black Horse Garage, would like to be escorted to our shop from I-95, or has any type of mechanical problem or breakdown, please don't hesitate to call our office at 203 330 9604 and we will have a member of our team come out to help you immediately.
