Vinny Tabacco

Operations Manager

Vinny, like most of our staff members, has loved automobiles since he was a boy growing up in Norwalk, Connecticut. Early on he displayed a fascination and talent for all things mechanical and began working on cars as a teenager. Strongly influenced by his dad, a gifted woodworker and upholsterer, Vinny developed a deep respect for high quality craftsmanship during his formative years.

It was this appreciation that inspired him to earn his college degree in architectural and interior design. Even with his design degree in-hand, Vinny could not ignore the burning desire he harbored for working on cars and he soon enrolled in the professional automobile repair program offered by the respected Technical Careers Institute. After successfully completing his education at TCI, Vinny sought employment in the field he loved and ultimately held technician positions at several new car dealerships before deciding to own and operate his own auto repair business. It was during this period that the special passion and enthusiasm for collector cars he possessed truly came into focus and Vinny soon longed to apply his extensive knowledge and skills to restoring and repairing vintage automobiles along with Ferraris, Porsches, Aston-Martins, Jaguars and many other late-model exotics.

Extremely excited by the opportunity Frank and John Buonanno presented for him to leave the day-to-day demands of his own business and work on vehicles that inspired his soul, Vinny enthusiastically joined the Black Horse Garage team and quickly distinguished himself as an extremely capable master mechanic and valuable asset to the organization.

Today, Vinny's in-depth expertise and experience with caring for world-class automobiles of every era helps to increase the depth of Black Horse Garage's services while his warm and welcoming personality makes the shop a more enjoyable place to be. Vinny's important contributions to Black Horse Garage are greatly appreciated by clients and the entire staff every day. He resides with his charming wife and three beautiful children in Trumbull, Connecticut.
